Sorry, apa nama you?

"Aie, please list down the name those who wants to buy the Mathematics Modul. Ia terhad, okay, so siapa cepat dia dapat."
"Aie, tulis nama saya tau saya nak first. Besar-besar eh. Adlin Ilyana."
Aie memandang dengan ekor mata. "Sorry darling, nama saya first."
"Hee awak ni selalu cemburu dengan saya kan Aie!!"
"Takda makna.. kalau saya cemburu saya dah tak tulis nama awak."
"Aie!!" Adlin jerit tak puas hati. Haha. Sekali-sekala kenakan Adlin best juga.
Satu persatu nama dicatat. Shamira, Nina, Naillah, Cass, Marisah, Li Ying......
"Siapa lagi nak?!"
"Saya, saya!Tulis nama saya!"
Apa nama minah tu..
"Awak nak nama Facebook saya ke nama Twitter?"
Dahi Aie mula berkerut.
What or what? Anggaplah saya tuli kejap tadi sampai tak dengar apa dia cakap.
"Apa dia?"
"Awak nak nama Facebook ke nama Twitter saya? Nama Facebook saya Nattely Naxzryn and nama Twitter saya Natte7 Lee."
Kerutan di dahi semakin dalam.
Ada kau nampak muka aku ni ada cop laman maya or sensawang ke?
Mata diangkat sekilas untuk melihat empunya nama "Nattely Naxryn"
"Saya nak nama kat batu nisan awak nanti."
Toneless.
Terdiam minah tu.
Sakan minah Adlin yang duduk depan aku ni.
Nama elok-elok mak ayah bagi Natalia Muhammad Nazrin boleh pulak dia 'modified' jadi Nattely Naxryn.
Betullah dunia nak terbalik dah.

#Muhasabah diri.
#Bukan untuk sesiapa terasa.

Aie's Story #1

“Aie, jangan lupa bawa pisang dengan sotong tau, nanti tak jadi banana float dan sotong kapitan esok.”
“Yes darling..” ujar Aie sambil menjulingkan matanya. Naik pulun telinga aku budak ni duk ulang benda sama sejak dua hari lepas.
“Aku tak sabar weh nak masak esok.” Mya buat muka excited.
“Mya ni memang, kat rumah dia mak dia je yang jadi orang gaji. Tak pernah  masuk dapur ada lah kut....” Yana sambung bebelannya.
Sementara itu di sebelah luar kelas, Az sedang mengatakan sesuatu kepada Head Students melalui tingkap.
“Wei Izz, asap kat ladies bathroom. Ace kau pergi check sat.”
“Ha? Mana kau tahu”
“Asap bagitau aku. Aku Nampak lah bodoh. Bau cam asap rokok.”
“Dah tu aku nak masuk macam mana? Nanti ada juga orang cakap head student prevert. Mampus aku.”
“Mampus tak mampus amanah kau. Nak dosa ke apa?”
“Lohh…” Tanpa sedar head student menggaru pelipis.
“Wei, cepatlah! Kau suruh je minah-minah bawah pokok tu tengok siapa smoking. Habis cerita.”
Pantas kepala dipaling ke belah kiri. Lantas suara garau head student menjerit bagaikan nak terkeluar anak tekak.
“Aie!! Weh korang semua dengan pengawas 3 ekor pergi ladies sat. Tengok siapa smoking.”
“Amenda kau cakap? Ekor?? Ada kau Nampak ekor dalam kain aku ni?” tempo Mya dah naik la tu kot.
“Achehh.. suruh la pengawas, aku bukannya pengawas, or mawas.”
“Weh tolong lah Aie, tengok je kejap pastu record name. Aku tau kalau aku suruh Yana, Mya dengan diyyah confirm diorang taknak. Pengecut. Kau kan berani sikit. Tolong la weh, amanah ni berat.”
“Hmm. Beres tapi Vochelle 2 bars.” Ucap Air sambil berlalu.

Summer Pastels

By now we all now that pastels are big news this summer, and though daunted by the candy colour laden shelves in Topshop etc even I (a big old goth) purchased a lilac T-shirt! That is as far as it goes for clothes, but I have always enjoyed pastels in the make-up bag.

Introducing one of my favourite lippies, Barry M 100 a chalky milky pink that makes quite an impact! Whether worn in lieu of nude lipstick with heavy smoke eyes, or teamed with spiky false lashes for a 60s vibe, this is definitely the shade of the moment.

Much preferable to sherbet lemon trousers, yet just as on trend!

Routine 1 Ramadhan

Salam Ramadhan you alls!
today is 1 Ramadhan am i right? And are you fasting today? Klau tak, pi main jauh-jauh jangan baca blog ni. keh keh. Girls are exception. Chewwah. The only exception tuhh.
Okay, sekarang ni jam 11.56 malam 2 Ramadhan bersamaan 21 haribulan Julai 2012.
Nak cerita sikit fasal hari ni?
Yea, malam tadi saya tengok Harry Potter dengan Yati sampai pukul 1 pagi. Tapi dak habis pun lagi. Handsome doe Harry Potter! Cair tau dak masa tu. sampaikan Yati bawak saya masuk peti ais. heh.
Sha, you are such a ridiculous ah.
Err.

Pastu masa sahur pula, sha dah set alarm tapi dont know why, sha tetiba mengigau sampai tidur kat ruang tamu. so tak dengar lah alarm punya ringing until mak kejut pukul 5. Nasib baik. kalau dak, kebulur lah sampai buka puasa jam 7. 27 petang.
Lepas sahur yang makan ikan goreng, ikan rebus dan seruling, sha pun buka buku study sikit. Exam is just around the corner. I mean, PMR trial exam. It just about count down three weeks.  I wish i could enter sekolah berasrama penuh but my heart undivided. I love SMK Tengku Afzan and i wants to enter science class. Why? I want to be a doctor. But my science not so good. Im not like Zakirah, Cassandra or anyone whose can score A every test or exam. Im just an ordinary girl which is not a genius.

Next, sleep from seven o'clock till about eleven o'clock and study for a while then bath, prayer and ready to my father's house for look up. Btw, actually My father already rent the house(at Indera Mahkota, Pasdec Bandar Baru) tp IK Aisyah. And, she decorate the house veryyy warmly and nice and beauty. Seriously no kidding. Keh

About half an hour before leaving the house, i opened cupboard which is ousite at the garage to find something useful *well* i found a cat with kittens! Such a surprise. And I triedn to find any food *fish* in the hous but i couldnt found any of it. So i decided to go to a market which is about 100 metres with my sister. Well my father's house in a teres house so theres lots of mini market there. And bazaar Ramadhar at the parking space. When seaching for a market which is sell whiskers, i found a mother of a kitten carrying a kitten infront of! And it was so cute! I wish i could took them home but i does not have effort to "bela" too many kittens as my mothers home which is in Beserah theres 1 old cat called Alien, and three kittens which is Angah, Along and Hyper. my Grandmother said to Yati that Angah just like Awang's mother(cat). Awang is cat that my grandmother bela about 10 years ago! And the cat named Itam. so my mother called it as Itam. And my mother loves it so much *jealous*
Of course lah. My mum always played with angah. Though angah is sooo typical cute, my mother always feed them(include Along and Hyper)
And now my mother is calling Itam with "mendayu-dayu" voice and mum carried it! I never seen my mother carried cat since i was in grade 3. But Itam? Amdmymum never scold Itam . :(

Okay, back to the story, though i couldnt found any whiskers, so i decided to buy Roti Ikan Bilis. And went came back home, the cat does not eat! Kinda dissappointed. I bough three of them but they never eat. So i put opposite to the cat, which they would eat the bread tonight.

Megamall
Took my Spectacles at Hollywood. Then man the treat me so handsome and i felt like melting. Oh god. Puasa sha, puasa. heh. Then i went to giant for awhile next when to Mexica so take my sister. O.o

At night, i went to Isya' and Terawih prayer at Masjid nearer my house.
Okay, i thinkthats all. My eyes not going to open anymore. Bye. Assalamualaukum. Puasa tau esok! eam, esok sha edit balik dehhh. Salam.

Review: Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

Hi all! I'm back from Italy and back to the blog! I thought I'd kick off my posting with a book review. I can't keep up with my rate of reading, and have a backlog of about 10 books to write about at the moment, so let's start afresh with my favourite holiday read. I got through 5 novels on the beach but this one was my absolute favourite, let me tell you all about it...

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn documents the disappearance of beautiful young woman Amy Dunne. The police instantly suspect her husband Nick, and though friends confirm that she was scared of him,  Nick denies it all. I can't say any more on plot without spoiling the story. It is a true thriller, where every page turn reveals a clue bringing us closer to the truth.

The narrative is split between Nick's police led search and Amy's secret diary. The voices are unique and equally strong, but I felt more pull toward that of Amy. Gillian Flynn has created an impressive character that you can't help fearing and admiring in equal measures.

This is a beautifully written intelligent book, but it has no airs and graces. The Flynn's skill lies in her confidence to exclude clever descriptions and metaphors in favour of an addictive storyline and powerful first person accounts. You won't be able to put this book down! I was glued to it on my green beach chair and finished it the same day. A wonderful blend of trashy thriller and skilled author. I wish there were more novels like this!

PS. Watch out for the ending- it is truly twisted!

Manicure at MW Nails London

Before I boarded a less than luxe Easyjet flight to Italy, I had the pleasure of spending an evening in a far more enjoyable aircraft at MW Nails. A manicure like no other, this London salon is kitted out with a genuine ex American Airlines Boeing aeroplane!

On arrival at the Spitalfields branch (there is also one at Chancery Lane) I was guided to 'Arrivals' where a rainbow of OPI and Essie nail polish awaited me. I always get panicked at choosing a colour when presented with too much choice, but settled on an Essie creamy pastel green called Mint Candy Apple.

My Miu Miu sack was safely stowed in an overhead locked, and then my chic air hostess clad technician Carolina began my treatment- a 'Perfect Panama'. My cuticles were clipped in to oblivion before moisturising hand massages, essential oil infused towelette gloves and a perfect application of my mint choice of colour. I then shifted over to 'Departures' whilst my talons dried.

Oh I know, it is all a bit of a gimmick, but it is very pleasurable to while away an hour in an aeroplane in central London. I can also report that there is nothing novelty about the standard of manicure you will receive; prices are very similar to other high end salons why not add a little fun to the procedure I say!

I've already returned for a pedicure and you get to sit in a reclining American Airlines seat, complete with folding table in the arm! That is quite exciting.

Review: Perricone MD No Sun Tanner

By the time you read this I will be sitting on an Italian beach, under a large umbrella, possibly reading a trashy novel. Best of all I will be looking gently bronzed, sun-kissed if you will, and definitely not naturally.

I will look healthy and glowing due to Perricone MD No Sun Tanner. I was very excited to get this in a goodie bag a few months back as I've had several Johnson's 'Holiday Sun' disasters and was not looking forward to returning to its yellow, patchy clutches. Yet some one as pale as I needs a little help before stepping on to the sand...

I tested it out on that hot weekend that is now a distant memory. We were heading to Hampstead Heath so the night before I slathered a layer of this on my legs hopefully. It smells delicious, like cocoa butter, and has a rich moisturising formula that sinks in without any bother leaving a delicate golden surface shimmer. It says for best results use for 7-14 days, but on pale old me the very next day I could see the effects.

I applied the next morning as well, and voila, I looked like I had been in the sun for a week! The colour was even save for a little orange stain on my knees and feet but I put that down to me being a very inexperience fake tan user. I think this could be it, just the ticket to looking normal through summer months without baking to a crisp in the sweaty sun. A miracle!

PS. Sorry for the weird last pic, I panicked when tasked with taking a photo of my legs and ended up doing this strange seated self-timer in the kitchen?! It shows the results well enough though

The Montagne Jeunesse SPArty Clay Spa Launch

Most readers out there will have tried a Montagne Jeunesse face mask at some point in their lives. My peak usage was between the ages of 9-14, where masks were a true sleepover tradition along with microwave popcorn, slipper socks and a 90s American high school film. These days I rarely take the time to slather on a face mask, maybe this is where it all changes...

I attended a launch for the newest product in the Montagne Jeunesse family, the Clay Spa face mask. These strange looking masks are woven from bamboo and soaked with a natural clay infusion. You mould the mask on to your face and then peel off after 10-15 minutes with minimal fuss or mess. The brand are keen to bring the face mask back as an integral part of every woman's weekly skincare rather than a rare treat.

Here are some pictures from the event:

It was a lovely event, of which the highlight was making our own face masks with the help of expert Colin who kindly answered all my animal testing questions. A great night!
