Assalamualaikum.
Day and day past and im still here. Made my blog as English essay which is i can spread my love, my words and my spirite to all of you.

Amboihh awat jiwang sangat sha ni.

No lah, kay, last Wednesday, my school held Karnival Budaya antara Sekolah-Sekolah Negeri Pahang and Hari Koperasi sekolah. The karnival budaya is held and there's competition for all Kuantan school. Theres participants from SMK Seri Mahkota, SMK Tok Sera, SMK TC, SM SMART, SMK Alor Akar, SMK SABS, SMK Semambu and of course, SMK Tengku Afzan, as tuan rumah maa.

You know what, I love Trio Band from SMK Tok Sera. Why? SMK Tok Sera "menggegarkan" dewan Tengku Afzan dengan lagu diorang iaitu Ulik Mayang dan apa entah satu lagu. Tapi versi rock punya. Dahlah bukan nyanyi je but they also the one play guitar, drum and all of them. Gamelan which is SMK SABS i think, the one bak kata Syafa macam penunggu gua! And i wondering why SMK Beserah doesnt sent reppresentative to participant this  competition? And Sketsa that Shahairol Fitri sent me through chat last evening it is part of Budaya. And, SMK Beserah is the one can get first place if they participate the competition.

You must be curious about the result, right? First place SMK Tengku Afzan-Muhibbah, second place SMK Seri Mahkota- teater and third place is SMK TA too for Lagu Rakyat. And, i heard from adlin (she was the who incharge(volunteer) to help in backstage) she said theres a lot of malay student and Islam of course, freehair. But, why you dont know, sha? hehe. Im the sleeping beauty. hewhew. and i  just know all about this the next day. And, Adlin heard lah all conversation between Puan Noriati and Ustaz Rosli marah Islam student. Nauzubillah min zalik. Semoga Allah bukakan hati mereka dengan Hidayah-Nya. Amiin.

And how 'bout today? I was absent because im unwell. Why? Period time maa. From 7 in the morning till eleven o'clock ijust sleeping. it is so pain you know! eam, girls must really know how pain it is not for boys. So, do appreciate girls. would you?

And, what else? Ramadhan is just around the corner! Seriously, I cant waint for Ramadhan. Why? I always listening to my walkman, Man Bai song, the one lyrics like this "ku mengharapkan ramadhan kali ini penuh makna..." TOUCHED.

My crush sent me a chat yesterday evening. And i feel like flying and telling all of you about that. But it such as menyakitkan hati when he replied late. Erghhh. At least i must be grateful because he still remember me as his friend. or even just FB friend list. How hurt it was if i am nothing to him. Grateful, Aishah, just keep your prayer on HIM and InsyaAllah dimakbulkan. Amiin. I think im done withmy essay. Err right? Ouch, ya, Tuition. Yesterday i sat next to Aqilla and i do felt like in smk beserah. i do'nt know what the different between smkb friends and smkta friends. But i dont feel any "ngam" with smkta student. eam, kay kidding. maybe some of them. Grateful, Sha.

p/s: seriously im sorry if you cant get what that i wrote. cause im not perfect and i dont want to be a perfect girl. i just want to try, try and try till death. cause only my Allah SWT perfect..

Best Nail Polishes for Summer Toes

I hate my feet, so painting my toe nails always runs the risk of drawing more attention to them. However, never one to be put off by beauty challenges, I've whittled down our extensive polish collection and can confidently proclaim that this fabulous looking trio are the best nail lacquers for DIY pedicures.

My toes appear constantly tinged red, and look squashed and angry in sandals (is there anyone else with this problem? No? Just me?) so a cool toned polish neutralises the flushed skintone. This Revlon pastel lilac 211 Charming is a real winner for summer feet (and hands) and always gets people asking where it's from. If you only buy one new bottle of lacquer this summer, go for this! I'm still not bored of it.

Central we have American Apparel Neon pink. This belongs to flatmate Kat and is absolutely luminous in life- think flouro! It has a matte finish and is ideal for festivals or lazy beach holidays.

Pictured last is Models Own Feeling Blue. I have a particular liking for blue polish at the moment and this one is a strange shade that is both chalky and vibrant- just the thing for giving tan or black gladiators a colour pop.

Rituals Bloggers Evening

Last Thursday I attended a bloggers event for Rituals in a rather swanky suite at the Soho hotel. I have tried a few Ritual shower products (think there have been some in previous Glossy Boxes) but I had absolutely no idea how all encompassing the range is. We started in the kitchen, where citrus coloured bottles surround a soapy sink, taking a closer look we realised that these were washing up liquids! Take your choice of decadently perfumed soap, these definitely beat Fairy Liquid in the glam factor.

We then moved on to the bathroom (below) where we found a rose petal filled free-standing bath and some seductive mood lighting. Beauty therapists were on hand to give bloggers hand massages, and there was even a station set up in the oversized walk-in shower. The products blended flawlessly in to the decor- perhaps the Soho Hotel should take note?

Out in the lounge area (this particular hotel suite is bigger than my London flat) I took an interest in the suncare range thoughtfully set out on the terrace. The collection includes a number of creams and sprays that manage to combine super high SPF with a lightweight easily absorbed formula. I was particularly taken with the factor 50 sun spray which misted on lightly without a hint of white residue- anyone who has spent time trying to make thick pasty sun scream disappear on the beach will understand the value of this!

I didn't know that Rituals did make-up...there was a selection set out on the vanity table in the bedroom, a combination of shimmer eye palettes, contrast colour blush and bright nail polish.

Random #7 : A dream. Of HIM

Assalamualaikum to reader of my blog and those who not. Aiseh Sha, of course lah diorang baca if not how your word are going to reach them? =,=

Guys, you know what, there's only a few months before im going to sit for PMR examination. I tried to study hard but i cant. Actually can, but i often get bored. And, i do thinking that writing in my blog(in English especially) can improve my Essay, am i right? But Alhamdulillah for extra class for night which is from eight to ten and i'll continue my study from 10.30 till 11.45p.m. everyday. insyAllah.

I had a... nightmare? no. But it's kinda scary and i could not believe it. But it make me happy or something?That dream made me late for Subuh prayer and luckily i was woke-up by 7 something. First time in this year i dreamt a guy. Man. Boy. And it's no scary but.. surprise. Seriously. No kidding. Hey Sha, does 'no kidding' or seriously is a different meaning? Fine.

It such a cloudy day and i am leading my bicycle to school ( i was shocked when i am schooling at SMKB) And there's a man. Same form and his name start with S and ended with L suddenly by my side. I dont know why he took my bicycle and ride it while i am the one who (yang duduk belakang basikal tu membonceng eh? whatever) And he tooe me to the front of SMKB. And i realived that all student of SMKB were staring at us. And somehow, i felt like im Kotani in Nobuta. And, SMKB is soooo beautiful. SOO BEAUTIFUL. with a lots o flowers and i felt like im a princess which in a garden and waiting for a prince(akibat terlebih menonton filem dogeng agaknya) keh keh. But seriously, it is so wonderful untill suddenly i was wake up with a strong, huge vibration. You know what, my darling sister is shaking my bed. Haha.

And, now is 11.03 p.m. and sha is still wake-up and writing her essay in blog. why? cause this evening i overslept untill two hours so i am not going to sleep early today.

Review: Aveda Color Conserve Shampoo and Conditioner

As you know, a few months ago I dyed my hair red. Whilst I absolutely adore having flaming locks, I hate the up-keep. Red is a notoriously difficult shade to care for, it fades rapidly and  I have to return to the salon every month to restore the bright hue.

Knowing that there is nothing more demoralising than seeing expensive colour washing down the drain, I splashed out on some specialist shampoo and conditioner to try to preserve my copper tint. I choose Aveda-  more pricey than some, but not as pricey as others, I love the brand's herbal animal friendly ethos. Apart from the occasional Philip Kingsley treat, I'm very much a cheap haircare girl, so is it worth investing in shampoo?

As expected Color Conserve Shampoo and Conditioner smell delicious whilst lathering, and leave a lingering scent that you'll notice until you next wash your hair. Does it conserve colour? It's really hard to gauge this as since dying I've only used colour shampoos. I still need to get my hair done monthly and it still disappears to a muted reddish brown in the 4th week. Perhaps it would be worse with regular shampoo, I don't know.


What I can say is that it makes my hair look considerably better than usual. A colleague complimented me on my hair one morning, after I'd first used it. Then a few weeks later after using the Aveda Madder Root (review to come) I switched back to Color Conserve only to receive another office compliment that my hair looked nice. Coincidence I think not, this shampoo adds a silky sheen and an extra hint of volume that makes a notable difference to appearance. Highly recommended!!

Get Summer Ready with with Braun Beauty Therapist Nichola Joss

Shave, wax, epliate...hair removal is one of the lesser pleasures of summer.  The annual revealing of the legs is something I dread, and hold out on as long as possible (yes I've worn tights in 25 degree heat to avoid showing flesh) so it is great to get some expert tips on how to get summer ready.

I was contacted and asked whether I had any questions for Braun Beauty Therapist Nichola Joss- of course I did! I would absolutely love to know 'What is the best self-tan option for pale skin?'. I am not a fan of the orange spray tan look, but there is no way that I can expose my pallid pale legs to the public without a little cosmetic fakery- I don't want to look bronze, I simply need something to make my legs look a normal skin colour instead of glowing, sun-reflecting white.

Review: Chanel VITALUMIERE AQUA Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Makeup

Sorry for the delay in reviewing Chanel VITALUMIERE AQUA, I think it can be blamed on my hatred of taking photos of my face- I know know it is a standard blog procedure but even after 3 years of Or False Glitter it feels very narcissistic. Anyway, on with the review...

I have always wanted to try a Chanel foundation, it seemed like the ultimate luxury in make-up and I'd heard very good things about them. I picked Chanel VITALUMIERE AQUA Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Makeup as I wanted a light and natural coverage for summer, something that makes skin look like skin but amazing. At £31 a pop it is not cheap but is it worth splashing out for? Here are my findings...

Shade

This foundation comes in six shades, not the most fruitful of selections. As usual I went for the palest, Beige Pastel, but found it darker than my natural skintone. Beware, this foundation has a very yellow undertone, which makes the skin look golden hued. Some may like this flush of colour, I was not so keen.

Formula

This is a water based formula which requires a good old shake before using. It is neither moisturising or mattifying making it suitable for all skin types. The SPF15 was not quite high enough for my liking, this is definitely a day foundation and personally think SPF25 should be standard, especially when you're paying this much. As you know, I double up my sunscreen with special lotions and potions, so this is not the end of the world.

Coverage

This is lightest of all the Chanel foundations, so don't expect much coverage. You will still need concealer under the eyes and perhaps on the nose, but it does even out skintone and give a radiance boost. It is probably 1 step up from tinted moisturiser, so bear that in mind- it won't transform your skin or erase blemishes.

Longevity

Staying power is good, but when wearing all day at work, I felt it needed refreshing before heading out for the evening. 

Verdict

Can you tell I'm a little disappointed with VITALUMIERE AQUA? After hearing praise for Chanel foundations I think I expected magical, fantastical flawless skin with this, but that is not the case at all. It is a good foundation and I have no major complaints, but it is nowhere near special enough to warrant the price tag. I wonder if perhaps I should have tried one of the medium coverage options for a more wowing result?

If you are looking for a light coverage with an airbrush- style finish, the best I've ever tried is Smashbox High Definition Healthy Fx Foundation (read my review HERE). Now this one manages to transform skin without looking like you're wearing make-up- truly impressive. Chanel may be a more glamorous purchase, but it just doesn't compare.

Random#6 : Long lost cousin

Assalamualaikum.

Hey peeps yang menunggu untuk dilamar tapi takda orang nak. Im sorry, but please, kalau memasak pun tak reti, siapalah nak kahwin dengan awak. Acheh.. Sha, nanti kau dewasa nanti takda orang nak kat kau baru kau tahu apa si andartu rasa. Eam. Lambat lagilahweh  darling. And.. Im just waiting for the ustaz. Banyaklah kau punya ustaz.

Actually, it has been a while since Sha update blog but kadang-kala Sha just post the entry about Story. Actually, story tu dah lama Sha tulis tapi ia tersimpan kemas dalam draft blog sha and dalam yahoo!

And,yeah, everyone know that this is a holiday week including next week and that’s why Sha ada masa for tulis.

Sumpah banyak gila perkara yang berlaku dalam minggu ni dan kadang-tak percaya rasa. Nak tahu ke? Oh please, Sha, kalau kau taknak cerita,mesti kau tak tulis dah kat sini. Kan?

Right..

Jumaat minggu lepas, balik sekolah je, Sha terus tumpang kereta ayah ke rumah tok. Rindu sangat kat tok tau dak. Then, malam tu dalam jam 10 lebih tiba-tiba je ayah call and tanya tok dah tidur ke. So, yes, while sha tengah tengok megamovie kat ruang tamu. The next day jam 9 pagi ayah datang. Okaya normal lah, ayah, mak, adik pakai tudung coklat dan.. Ada perempuan rambut panjang dengan colour coklat perang. Dengan lajunya sha masuk rumah balik. Kut kut ternampak benda lain. Kut kut Allah SWT buka kan six sense sha. Nauzubillah min zalik.

 Pastu tok cakap. Sape pula tu?  Alhamdulillah tok Nampak juga. Pastu ayah buat ala-ala nak buat surprise kononnya, tanya tok, tak kenal ke? Tok cakap tak kenal and, dalam hati tu sha berkira. Mesti saudara tok ni sampai berkira-kira. Tapi tok ada 3 orang anak je. Sorang anak tiri dan yang sulung tu ada kat Perak. *BTW, tok cakap mak su minta mak long berjual kat petronas Mak Su tapi mak long reject takut takda untung*

Okay.. mesti anak Pak Din yang lost tu?

Yes right. Betul tekaan Sha. Actually macam ni, dulu Pak Din kahwin dan ada anak. Liza something namanya. Bekas isteri Pak Din bawa pergi ke KL. Diorang bercerai sebab jatuh taklik. Ex wife pak din nak kerja kat KL tapi Pak Din taknak. Sampailah 17 tahun kemudia iaitu tahun ni. Liza nak kahwin. (Dia sekarang umur 22 tahun dan tua Khairul Amilin 5 hari. Siapa Amilin? Abang kedua sha lahh) Sebab tu dia cari ayah dia. Untuk dijadikan wali. Or maybe dia nak sangat tahu. Dia panggil tokki dia ayah. Sampai lah ada orang bagitau yang tu bukan ayah dia dan maybe something yang diceritakan ibu dia lain daripada cerita asal. Ibu dia cakap Pak Din tinggalkan dia. Kahwin lain. Sebenarnya masih tunggukan ibu dia. Hew hew ~_^

Tapi.. perangnya rambut dia. And, tok cakap, tunang dia sebenarnya anak buah ayah! Subhanallah! Kecilnya dunia! Dan Liza tu pun sebenarnya kerja dekat saloon mana entah dan sewa di apartmen belakang pejabat emak which is belakang HTAA.

Semalam masa makan:

Laila: Haha, entah-entah masa nikah nanti ayah duduk sebelah anak buah ayah

Ayah: Malulah ayah nanti.. patutlah Firdaus macam pandang ayah semacam je kat pejabat. Rupanya dia tahu dah, kita je tak taulagi.

Tok: Haritu Pak Din cerita gini masa makan dengan tunang Liza. Kerja mana, dia cakap kerja kat Alor Akar. Kat mana? Kat kesihatana tu... Oh.. Kenal Mahadi dak? kenal.. bos saya tu. sebab tu tau.. kot mak ayah dia tak restu sebab tu tak gi merisik lagi

Ayah: Takpe dah.. anak buah ayah tu.. ayah kena jadi orang tengah lagi lah jawabnya

 Yati: Ayahhhhh dah berapakali jadi orang tengah.. masa Pok Joe(Faizol) Kahwin, abang Titi(Azizi), Non, Abang Di(Cikgu Zunaidi) *Tapi part abang di tu sha tatau ayah ada jadi orang tengah dia kahwin ke dak.. dak rasanya. entah apa yati mengarut*

Aishah: Family ayah memang ada problem nak kahwin eh..  Sekarang ni belah mak pula.. dua-dua ada problem nak kahwin

Aqila: Baru je 3 tahun lepas kes Pok Jo..

Okay. Habis cerita fasal Jejak Kasih via keluarga Mariam.

Sekarang cerita fasal Sha. Kay, Minggu ni sha banyak chat dengan dial ah. Heam. Apaper jelah, tak penting pun. PMR trial less than 70 days more, Sha. Dan minggu which is (today 3 Jun) baru habis kelas tambahan. Sha pergi 4 hari je tau. Hew hew.

Peritnya jatuh hati dkat orang yang langsung takda perasaan dekat kita, kan.

Haritu Sha on FB Amy dan minta number fond orang yang Sha minat tu. Tapi sumpah Sha tak contact pun dia.. Sebab Sha taknak lain main messy loving semua ni gila stupid. Dan Sha just simpan number dia sebagai…… Kenangan.

It’s okay, Sha. Kalau hari-hari doa, dia menjadi milik kita di dunia dan diakhirat, InsyaAllah dia akan menjadi jodoh sha suatu hari nanti. Amiin. Tapi kan, sha rasa macam sha Fauza a.k.a Jaja yang jatuh hati dekat Uztaz Burhanuddin al-Helmy pulak.

Next, tok. Nama tok Mariam atau Midah. Tok ada dua nama sebab tukar. Dan.. hari ni kan pagi-pagi masa mak nak pergi kerja tumpang mak nak pergi rumah tok. Tok cakap lah tok sakit tekak, kahak. Pastu tok cakap tok bermimpi. Tok dah takda dan mak tok yang kafankan to(tu lagilah pelik) Tok.. Sha rasa macm nak menangis tau tok cakap macam tu tau dak. Sedih sangat. Janganlah tinggalkan Sha. Tunggulah  Sha dah kahwin dapat anak … Biar anak sha kenal sape moyang dia.. Sha, tahun ni tok dah berumur 71 tahun dan Liza akan kahwin. Paling tak mustahil pun tok dapat tengokk cicit tok yang anak pak din. Yang abang pun… umur 23 dah sajer tak kahwin-kahwin lagi.

Scratch Stars Awards

I recently attended the Scratch Stars Awards which is basically the BAFTA's of the nail industry. With Cafe de Paris as the venue and a dress code stating 'Party attire', B and I set off in a rickshaw (comedy) wondering if we were too overdressed. We needn't have worried; as we approached our destination we quickly spotted a long snaking queue of some very glamorous ladies, so glamorous in fact, that tourists were stopping to admire the line and take sneaky snaps.

I've been to a few bashes at Cafe de Paris, and it's lavish OTT interior complete with lit-up chandelier and plush velvet couches never fails to impress. We settled on the balcony with a glass of champers and the ceremony began...

Presented by GMTV's Dan Lobb and Scratch magazine editor Alex Fox, the award included prizes such as 'Nail Artist of the Year', 'Manicurist of the Year' and 'Best Educating and Training'. Check out the full list of prizes and winners HERE

Then the party began and the crowd took to the dance floor armed with complimentary wine. With it being a school night, we didn't stay late, but did manage to get a snap with the charming host. A great night all round. It's great to see the professionals gaining recognition for their talent and hard work throughout the year.

Bunyi deringan jam loceng mengejutkan Lin. Jam menunjukkan jam 9pagi. Hari ni cuti pasal tu sengaja dia set lagi jam loceng. Ditambah pulah cuti period.

Masih di pembaringan. Matanya menala kea rah siling. Teringat kat dia. Siapa, Lin? Hatinya menyoal. Dia.. Bukan ex tapi orang yang Lin minat. Rindunya kat dia. .

Shazlin Lin: Seriously, Eki, Lin sendiri tatau nak cakap apa,nak buat apa. Maybe Eki rasa couple is the best choice for Lin but, Faez tu. Eki tau kan dia tu stok-stok alim juga.
